š Overview
We're upgrading the infrastructure behind your DaySmart account. These changes start October 19, 2026 and affect how you access invoices, when you can update your payment method, and in some cases how your subscription is billed.
Here's what's changing and what you need to do.
ā What to Do Before October 19, 2026
Verify your admin email address
Your invoices and billing notifications will be sent to your admin email going forward. If that address is out of date, you will not receive them.
See the link below for more details.
ā
Save any past invoices you need
Starting as early as October 20, past invoices will no longer be visible in your DaySmart account management portal. If you'd like to view previous invoices past the deadline, they can be found in your email.
ā
Make payment method changes now, not later
If you need to update your card or bank details, do it before October 19. If you work with an accountant or bookkeeper, let them know about these dates now.
ā ļø Warning: Do not update payment methods October 19 to 26.
During this window, payment method changes will not reliably save to your account billing information.
If you need to update your payment method during this period, wait until October 27 and then make the change. If your card is expiring or has already failed, contact our billing team at [email protected] rather than attempting the update yourself.
š§ Where to Find Your Invoices Going Forward
Invoices will be sent directly to your admin email address.
Looking for a past invoice? Check your email inbox for billing receipts from DaySmart with the invoice attached.
Email provider | How to search |
Gmail | Search from:[email protected] or "DaySmart Invoice" |
Outlook | Use the search bar at the top and filter by sender "[email protected]" |

š³ Changes to Your Billing
Moving from Arrears to Advance Billing
This applies to a small group of customers. If your account is currently billed in arrears, it is moving to advance billing.
Arrears billing: You're invoiced after your subscription period ends. For example, you pay for October on November 1.
Advance billing: You're invoiced before your subscription period begins.
What you may see during the transition: If you were previously billed in arrears, you may see one additional charge covering the current subscription month. This aligns your billing cycle with the new schedule.
š§ Example: You might be billed for both October and November during the transition. After that one-time adjustment, your invoices follow the advance schedule, and your ongoing cost does not change.
š·ļø Legacy Plan Upgrades
Legacy plans like Cloud Legacy, Deluxe Solo, and Legacy Custom packages are being upgraded to the next subscription tier at no additional cost.
What this means:
More features at your current price
No change to your subscription cost
Upgraded functionality available immediately
Your current plan | Your new plan |
Legacy Cloud Customers | Cloud Basic |
Deluxe Solo Customers | Cloud Deluxe |
Premier/Platinum Custom Customers | Cloud Premium |
š”Reminder: If you were previously billed in arrears, you may see one additional charge covering the current subscription month.
