📝 Overview

The Appointment Book calendar can be displayed in a few different ways depending on how much detail you want to see at once. Switching views can help you plan out a single day hour-by-hour, look ahead a few days at a time, or get a full month's overview without clicking through day by day.

🔄 How to Switch Calendar Views

  1. Open the Appointment Book.

  2. In the upper right corner, next to the Employee filter, select the view dropdown.

  3. Choose the view you'd like from the list: Day, 3 Day, 5 Day, Week, or Month.

📅 Calendar View Options

Each view shows a different range of time on the calendar. Use whichever fits what you're trying to see:

  • Day: Shows a single day across your employee columns. Best of a detailed, hour-by-hour look at one day's schedule.

  • 3 Day / 5 Day: Shows 3 or 5 consecutive days starting from whichever date is currently selected on the calendar. Useful for a mid-range look ahead without the density of a full week view.

  • Week: Shows a full calendar week at once. Good for reviewing staffing and appointment load across a standard week.

  • Month: Shows the full month at a glance, with a condensed summary tile for each appointment listed on its date (client/pet name, service icons, and appointment time). This gives you a quick overview of the whole month without opening each day individually.

💡 Pro Tip: If you or your employees have a high volume of appointments, viewing a smaller range (like Day or Week) can help keep the Appointment Book running smoothly, since Month view has to load more appointment data at once.
