Daycare Setup

Configure daycare rooms and manage daily bookings.

📝 Overview

This guide walks you through creating a Daycare service, linking it to rooms, and booking a daycare visit. Daycare must be enabled on your account; to add it reach out to your sales representative or email [email protected]

⚠️ Please Note:

You must use the Cloud website to set up and use this feature as it is not available in the mobile app


🐾 Create a Daycare Service

Set up a service that clients can book when dropping off pets for daycare.

  1. Click the Services icon.

  2. Press the + icon in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Enter the Name for the service.

  4. Set the Service Type to Daycare.

  5. Enter or select a Service Category from the dropdown.

  6. Enter the default Price.

  7. Under Resource, select Rooms for this service.

    • If you haven’t created rooms yet, follow the steps below under Create a Room.

  8. Click Save to finish setting up the service.



🏠 Create a Room

Rooms allow you to manage capacity and assign services in the Daycare module.

  1. Click More, then select Resources.

  2. Press the + icon in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Set the Resource Type to Room.

  4. Enter the Room Name.

  5. Enter the Capacity for the room.

  6. In the Services section, click the search bar and type the service(s) that can be booked to this room.

  7. Repeat this for any additional services as needed.

  8. Click Save to finish creating your room.



📅 Schedule a Daycare Appointment

Book daycare appointments using the dedicated Daycare View in the Appointment Book.

  1. From the Appt Book icon.

  2. In the upper-right corner, switch to Daycare View.

  3. Click the + icon in the bottom-right corner.

  4. Select the Date for the appointment.

  5. Under Which Pet?, search for and select the Pet and Client, or click + New Client and Pet to add a new one.

  6. Under Which Service?, search for and select the Service.

    • If you have multiple rooms, click Change to assign the correct room.

  7. Click Schedule to create the appointment.

    • Or click Appt Details to add more pets, services, or set up a recurring appointment.

Do I need the Daycare Module to use this feature?

Yes. The Daycare Module must be added to your account in order to access daycare-specific service types and views.


Why don’t I see any rooms in Daycare View?

This usually means no rooms have been created or linked to services. Make sure you follow the steps in Create a Room and that each room is properly linked to at least one service.

Can I assign multiple services to the same room?

Yes. You can assign as many services as needed to a room during setup or by editing the room later in the Resources section.

Is Daycare available for Online Booking?

It is not available for Online Booking.
