📝 Overview

This article explains how employees can use the Time Clock feature to clock in and out through the cloud website or mobile app. It also covers how to manually add or adjust entries from the website if changes are needed.


⏱️Clocking In & Out

These instructions will explain how to utilize the clock in and clock out feature within the software.

⚠️Disclaimer:

Multiple employees using the same login information will not allow for proper reporting of time clock entries. If a shared login is used, time clock entries will need to be manually added to reflect the correct employee(s). ​

Clocking In

  1. Click the arrow next to your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Clock In.

  3. Press OK.


Clocking Out

Click the arrow to learn how to clock out

  1. Click the arrow next to your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Clock Out.

  3. Click Save. Optionally, add a comment.

Clocking In

  1. Tap More.

  2. Click Time Clock in the upper right corner.

  3. Tap Clock In.

  4. You will see a confirmation of that clock in on the bottom of your screen.


Clocking Out

  1. Tap More.

  2. Click on Time Clock in the upper right corner.

  3. Tap Clock Out.

    • Optionally, add a comment.

  4. You will see a confirmation of that clock out on the bottom of your screen.


🛠️ Modify Time Clock Entries

These instructions will explain how to manually add or adjust time clock entries within the software.

⚠️Disclaimer:

You cannot manually add or adjust time clock entries via the mobile app.

➕Add a Time Clock Entry

  1. Click More at the top and select Time Clock.

  2. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Enter Employee, Date, Clock In Time. Clock Out Time and Comment are optional fields.

  4. Tap Save to finalize.


✍️Modify an Existing Entry

  1. Click More at the top and select Time Clock.

  2. Set the Date Range as needed.

  3. Click the entry to modify.

  4. Make any adjustments needed to the entry details.

  5. Then tap Save.

Why can’t I adjust or add entries in the app?

The mobile app is limited to clocking in and out only. To add or modify entries, you must use the cloud website.


What happens if I forget to clock out?

Simply go to the Time Clock section via the cloud site and add or adjust the entry manually. This will require an appropriate access level, please consult your administrator if you are not able to view that screen.


Can I leave notes when I clock out?

Yes, on both the cloud site and the mobile app, you can include an optional comment when clocking out.


Can I see the location an employee clock in from?

No, the software will not provide a location or IP address for time clock entries. Nor will it allow you to limit use of the Time Clock feature based on these criteria.
